Big Sean has always lacked that "it" factor. I can't quite pinpoint it but he dont got it.

Hes just barely talented enough and his voice is just unique enough for him to stay somewhat relevant with the right amount of push. But at the same time that very voice thats so unique is so soulless. Like idk its like a person saying a bunch of shyt over a track. A person who doesnt sound particularly interesting. All His music sounds like it belongs in a cool TV commercial or something. I dont think He will ever be that guy.

Everytime he raps or his a hit song youre left thinking, "Who is you? Cool song and all but who TF is you though And why should anyone care?" Its like he doesnt even believe what he's saying. Hes just sounds a bit too unrelatable and slightly corny

hes just so... mid.

Like someone mentioned, I do recall him performing at a lions Thanksgiving game before this.

He performed some sappy song that was supposed to be inspirational.

It sounded like chit and the crowd is dead.

They prolly remembered him from before, when they booed him.

I hate that this nikka claims Detroit he lived in one of my old hoods near Marygrove and never came outside lmao

my cuz who is also a bytch ass nikka is cool with him

Okay but unless im mistaken its not like Big Sean claims to be some super hood dude or some thugged out cat? So to me it wouldnt matter if he was or wasnt outside like that. And im not even a fan of
dudes music but im just sayin.

School me if im wrong tho.

Was that performance even for that type of crowd???
This. That type of crowd is only going to respond to big name rappers (Jay-Z, Ye, Drake). Big Sean has talent but he doesn't have the strength of name to move a crowd like that. Now lets be real, I'm sure if he performed later that night at a black club or venue it would have been a much different response. They set him up for failure here.

Kendrick or Cole could carry that crowd too.

Sean sucks trash nasal high voice, monotone, corny punchlines, weak backstory one of the most uninteresting rappers ever

Luckily he had flow, co-signs and backing, swag, and was a decent traditional bar to bar rapper

Him being monotone works for him. I was listening to "IDFWU" earlier this month and it didn't age well at all. His voice sounds even worse now than it did in 2015. :scust:

His voice is truly the worst thing about him. He has no bass behind it. Sounds like a thirteen year old attempting to be tough and cool.

Any Big 3 without Future isn't really in tune to the streets IMO....and I'm including suburbs too..Future gets burn and is a big influence on these youngins today especially with his HOH LOW LIFE lifestyle:mjlit:
Future is more influential on a generation than people are willing to admit. Now he is a branch off of leaned out Wayne from post-08, but still, there’s a LOT of dudes influenced by Future
