DEPENDS ON THE CHARGING METHOD. LEVEL 2 AC CHARGERS PROVIDE 40-60M MILES PER HOUR OF CHARGING.
DC CHARGING IS MUCH FASTER. DC CHARGING IS ALSO NOT GOOD FOR THE BATTERY OVER EXTENDED PERIODS.
ON A ROAD TRIP, YOU WILL BE DC CHARGING. YOU WILL GET ABOUT 270ISH MILES OR SO OF CHARGING IN 45-50 MINS IIRC. SO EVERY 3.5-4 HRS YOU WILL CHARGE FOR AN HOUR. IT ADDS AN HOUR TO A 8.5 HOUR ROAD TRIP.
