I'm not sure how many details of his past that he openly talked about while he was alive. I'd assume that he spoke about it often, to show the power of the NOI in transforming people from the absolute bottom of society into productive citizens.

The cancel culture comes about from people mostly bringing up things that the public wasn't aware of.

or maybe trying to say since he doesn't have a degree from Harvard he's not credible enough to speak on black issues
