I had the sega network and PSO it offered barebones minimum. but i forgot sony came out a year later with no online and expected you to buy a add on HDD for online play

No you did not, I played MANY hours online with no hard drive.

Madden and NBA Live and Socom got so many hours on the ps2 with no hard drive needed. You tellin mad now.

Its the other way around breh, you needed the network adapter to hook up the hdd on the ps2
