Yeah ransomware as a service is big on the dark web. They package up binaries and sell them and write frameworks that make it mad easy to distribute them over a network.

They made surprisingly little money though from what I saw. RaaS has a UI with a dashboard that has analytics reporting the number of machines affected and how much money is in the bitcoin wallet associated with the distributor
