Character action games aren't commercially viable. That new Ninja Gaiden is going to flop too.

I feel like a games like ninja gaiden dmc will do just as well as them fromsoft souls games

I don't know how they are going to handle the DMC series. DMC5 is the the pinnacle of the stylish/character action that we all wanted since DMC4. They gave us everything we wanted with 5 where to you go from there?
Story wise the DMC series is basically an Shonen. Just have another big bad come through and fukk shyt up. Gameplay wise Kamiya is back cool with Capcom and Itsuno’s protege is still promoting the franchise. Just give us more of DMC5 but with new weapons, more level variety, new tech/mechanics, etc.I'd rather have DMC3 but I hear you.
I hope we at least got some dogma 2 dlc ready to come off the fryers cause I know the dmc team going right back to another installment of Inuyasha with guns

I feel you, im not too concerned about the story like you said they can make some shyt up plus the ending of 5 was very opened.
My main concern is the gameplay especially since itsuno left. He made the series what it is now from the plot to incorporating style switching to Nero and his devil bringer gameplay.
There is just sohh much that he brought to the series and im not sure Capcom has someone that can do what he did which is evolve the gameplay while not fukk up the legacy of DMC like whoever was making DMC2.
Yeah DMC and Inuyasha has lot in common regarding Fathers and Swords.
We could do with a better art style though the characters were uncanny to look at.
