nikkas are going off DMC 2,4 and 5 Dante
DMC 1 Dante wasn’t strong until he was stabbed by the Sparda sword through the chest
DMC 3 Dante wasn’t nearly as strong either
You can’t expect Majin Dante straight out the gate because the show wouldn’t work
So tbf to buddy who wrote this
This is an origin story of sorts
Yeah nikkas will say
But he beat Mundus so why nerf him for the show
Fair point but again for show longevity he can’t be HIM right out the gate
And I do agree on how they kinda sidelined him in this anime
But tbf again
Lady has never really been fleshed out like before unless you read the novels
And they had to make Rabbit a threat for world building to get to Vergil
Hopefully they don’t introduce Nero until later if they get at least a season 4
Because I’m not trying to see a Peter Parker/Miles story rip off right now

Just started watching this the soundtrack , I love the shytty Rock music it somehow fits. Feels like I'm watching this on Spike TV or MTV2 late night.

Pretty solid first season I give it a 7.5/10 the music took me back to watching adult swim promo's and TRL nu metal Rock Music. Took my ass back to buying anime DVD's that came with Rock music. And The Anime didn't feel like it took itself too serious and had a fun vibe to it.

Season 2 should be fun. If it gets one.

Just finished this up last night and enjoyed it . Did make me want to dive into the games, which is a good thing.

Action isn't as good as say Castlevania, but pretty solid and I liked the rabbit as a villain.

I liked the design of Lady, although she was a lot of times. Didn't know the vice president was on a religious bent.
