I enjoyed it and I did like one of the changes was including the actual populace. Was always weird to me how civilians are never caught up in all this fukkeryDante was definitely DMC 3 Dante for sure and..wait did they ever show if he had his actual ebony and ivory? It felt like he was just using the Dark ops gunsThey for sure overdid Mary and the hyper aggressiveness Rabbit was a dope ass villain I wish he was more in the story in combat situations. I think this was Kevin Conroys last roleI kept thinking maybe he'd be Arkham secretly for some reason They can expand and use more of the game canon but this series has potential Virgil and the YamatoAgreed on them needing to use more actual combos for Dante I need Swordmaster and Gunslinger DOWN AND OUT

It's very odd to me that this show is getting this much hate. It's the damn near the same quality as the castlevania show and people love that and that shyt barely follows the original games storylines.

I'm assuming these are new fans that only played 5 or something and think they know everything about this series. This show is more accurate to the characters than the reboot was.

Haven't played the games since 4, so I don't remember all of the plot game for game. This is good, but just good. I know the diehards of the series hate it, but I understand them making accomodations for nikkas who not up on the narrative.

My biggest problem with this is that the changes they did make are pretty generic, this show feels like they're checking boxes. Nothing new or original here, if this wasn't called Devil May Cry, it would work all the same. Lack of identity.

I think this will improve as it goes on.

I just finished the entire show. This was really solid.

I'm also a newbie to the Devil May Cry franchise. I've heard of but never played any of the games.

I'm glad that they're making a season 2!

they coulda kept all the music in this shyt, but the limp bizkit shyt was INSTA intro skip

Yeah, I agree with you guys. The animation was great except for the CGI.

Also, using Limp Bizkit as the intro was a TERRIBLE decision lol

IDK what specific song they should've chosen, but definitely not Limp Bizkit/nu metal.
