I own more Devin material than any other rapper not named Pac. He's in my personal top 5 of all time. He's like the perfect rapper. He doesn't take himself too seriously and distance himself from the listener with his lyrics, takes pride in his craft, great with melodies and harmonies, storyteller, humor, social commentary, etc. I cut my family reunion short to hit the road to drive back home when he was in town on Memorial Day weekend. Devin hit the stage with a blunt, a Bud Light, and a Mic. He ripped it with no flunky hype man on stage. Real hip hop. I'm glad I was fortunate enough to be sitting in that dorm room indulging in that herbal essence in '98 when Sticky Green came beating thru the speakers...

One of the best rappers in terms of range of content, beat selection and general dopeness :yes: Has a song for every occasion, doesn't take himself super srs like the rest of these current guys and get's major love across the globe. :king:
