That happened to Punk a few times. He was getting the opportunity to have sponsors on his gear, but Vince said no, only for him to let Lesnar do it. He was also supposed to appear on LA Ink because he had a friend that worked there, but when Vince found out about it, he had him replaced with Randy Orton.
