In a way, it kind of makes sense to not have both shows running in parallel.
Season One was meant to be Dexter's memories while he was in a coma....but he's already awake now so the structure of Season One can't really continue with the same framing device.

Sucks this not getting a season 2. Even after it was already picked up. Seems resurrection is doing better then even showtime thought it would and they just going full steam ahead with resurrection as the future of Dexter.

I wanted young doaxes though. And Tanya's character is just a huge red flag now since we don't know what happened to her from original sin to dexter season 1.

But i did say from a narrative standpoint a season 2 doesn't even make sense. Only reason original sin happened is because his "life flashed before his eyes" as he was recovering in the hospital. He's up and about in new york now so how do they frame the story to get it back to that timeline? (granted this is nitpicking and no one will really care)

Halfway through this. Why is SMG a "special guest star"? She's on every episode and she's not special. She's the worst addition to the cast and she looks bad. I had no idea Christina Milian was this good
