Yup.....I can relate because my Mom is a Scorpio. I'm in Aries. Dez has a lot of the characteristics of your typical scorpio....You can see his level of passion, focus, resentfulness, loyalty just from watching him play & do interviews. Haven't seen enough to say if he's manipulative, jealous or secretive but you could say that about Aaron Hernandez, another scorpio.

Scorpio is ruled by both Mars & Pluto....It's a water sign, the feminine representation of Mars energy (where as Aries which is also ruled by Mars is a fire sign, the masculine representation of the energy).....Mars is the planet of action, energy and initiative, the celestial body that guides what we do, and how we do it. Pluto's energy is a bit different....Pluto governs the act of ultimate survival in the never-ending cycle of beginnings and endings. Destroy and rebuild so to speak. This planet rules destruction, death, obsession, kidnapping, unseen or buried, including secrets, strategic planning (You can see why Scorpio, Drake was so good at planning his battle against Meek Mill....he was totally overmatched), coercion, viruses and waste. Pluto also governs crime and the underworld, along with many forms of subversive activity (terrorism, dictatorships)

Thus, your Scorpio temper just runs a lot deeper than your Aries temper despite both being ruled by Mars. While an Aries might get mad & just as easily be done with it, Scorpio tends to hold that grudge forever....Just this year we saw Diddy hitting coaches w/ Kettlebells & punching Drake (his temper is notoriously legendary), Aaron Hernandez killing everyone, Westbrook was ready to fight Lamb over a handshake....I haven't bothered to look at Dez's whole chart to see where his planets fall (Ascendant, Mars, Venus, Pluto, Jupiter, Mercury, Moon & the aspects between them) but the Scorpio Sun part of his personality is immediately evident.


I like to use Astrology to look at Sports.....It's one of my hobbies over the past few years. You find some interesting things. You find many sucessful teammates/coaches are astrologically compatible. Tom Brady being a Leo, his coach Bill Belichick being an Aries...both fire signs (aries is the 1st sign loves to lead.....Peyton Manning is an aries). You see interesting things when you delve into the whole chart. Like say, Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose & Adrian Peterson all have their planet of action, Mars in the sign of Aries....one of the reasons for their downright exceptional athletic ability. They're all downright explosive & movements are damn near violent. Michael Jordan's Mars in Leo is a big part of why he's who is....Leo represents Pride....that's what drives him.....where as Lebron James' Mars in Pisces (a water sign ruled by bother neptune [planet of illusions] and jupiter) is a big part of why he fades at the end of games and is also big on being a team player and protecting the community.....Pisces energy [Lebron wearing hoodies for Trayvon] is a lot less selfless than Leo energy (ruled by the sun, prideful, wanting to be a star.....see Adrian Broner) [republicans wear shoes too/No pictures with nikkas-MJ] Obviously there are other factors to all this in the chart & you do have to work with your energy and develop it......but these are just small examples of how there's just certain energy that we're all born with.....how it manifest is up to you.

I should have broke this down better.


He's a Capricorn but his planet of action (Mars) is in Pisces.


You have to look at the whole natal chart. The natal chart is a collection of planets....Sun (which is mostly used as your sign in traditional astrology) that's your ego.....but you also have other planets which determine your personality (which is why you have people of the same sign who are completely different. You have your ascendant, venus, mars, pluto, mercury, moon, jupiter all which shows a different part of your self.

Nah, you're just ignorant and not connected with tools that human's have used for centuries. In general, America seems to be disconnected with anything spiritual, any tools beyond what they can see.

It's no fault of your own so I totally understand why one would think like this. The Newspaper/magazine industry has turned Astrology into a complete joke. They've turned it into entertainment (that's where your traditional sun sign horoscopes are listed), which is why it's seen as such. It's too general to be meaningful to any one individual. If you only knew astrology through this, of course it sounds like bullshyt......because it is.

When you actually delve into Astrology (which is the study of the correlation between the astronomical positions of the planets and events on earth) it gives you tools for understanding the human character (strengths and weaknesses) and basically a map of our lives. Astrology is more than just the Sun Sign.....It's where all the planets lie in your chart and how they affect your character. With someone's exact birth time you can get a natal chart which is basically the window to your soul. (Without the time and just the date, you can still see positions of planets.....just not the houses.)

Sounds crazy, I know......but a few years ago I was lost, looking for direction and a chick I knew suggested I talk with her astrologer who'd been giving her readings for a while. We spoke for about an hour and just from looking at my natal chart with my exact birth time without knowing me at all from anything she was able tell me that I broke my left arm (that blew me away), my diet, my strengths, my weaknesses, my fears, my mother's personality and effect on me, my main focus in life, that my father wasn't around, she was even able to tell me recent feelings and experiences I might have had based on the recent transits of planets. It was an incredible experience because I came in skeptical and left realizing that this was a powerful tool to help me in life. It's not something that I particularly base my life around but I am much more self aware than I was before.

I started following a bunch of astrologers via twitter and I notice that they would break down celebrity & athlete events based on charts......It was simply too accurate to ignore. So it became a hobby/interest to me. You can't help but notice that it has an effect on everything around you....
