The reason we got better IS in part to Dez. We had tons of red zone problems prior to Dez being a redzone touchdown machine. Solidifying the O line helped get the team out of seeming 8 and 8 territory, but Dez is a huge reason for the success of this team. Jerry Jones better pay the man.

I don't get this thing that Romo will be fine without Dez. Romo is nearing the end of his career. He doesn't have the luxury of waiting a couple of more years for another star receiver to emerge. Also, if we're going to depend on Murray, there's going to be big problems. Murray has a history of injury, so watch what happens after he gets a big contract that he gets knocked out of the game. Who is Romo going to air it out to? Williams? Beasley? Jerry better stop playing games. If he wants to get Dez at some sort of discount, he better get that contract done before the offseason because some team WILL offer him big money. I don't understand how you have a guy who is a monster performer who said he WANTS to be here and you play games with him. Typical Jerry though.

this is all public posturing. if you see the video of his comments you can tell he doesn't even really mean it. he's on the record so many times saying he's a lifelong cowboy and at the end of the day jerry always gets what he wants. dez aint going anywhere.
