Mad at what? I'm not a cowboy fan. Point is , it shouldn't have been viewed as needing controlling the ball when he landed. He clearly did that when landed when that was established when he was making a football moveYeah...its called dropping the ball. That was his football move
you don't know the rules. He could have taken 5 steps. If you are falling down you have to control it to the ground. He failed to do this.

It looked like a catch to me. But what do I know. 
But they deserved to get screwed over like that, There was too much b.s. going on in the detroit game and then these cowboys players and fans being in denial about what is clear on video.
The universe needed to correct it.

The refs ruled he was 'going to the ground in the act of catching the pass'. In that case it doesn't matter, you have to control the ball throughout without losing control. When that ball started moving when he hit the 1 yard line it was all over.

It is a catch to the general fan and to anyone watching BUT the fukked up rules state its not a catch. Sucks but Calvin Johnson went through the same a few seasons ago.
its not a stupid rule. you're supposed to catch the ball in the air. not with the assistance of the ground. you dont want players using the ground to try to stabilize the ball during a catch. the ball has to be secured before it/you hit the ground and throughout. it makes sense. unfortunately, as much as i try to make the dez catch count in my mind, i just cant see a way. once the ball touches the ground...if it moves around at all, if the player loses any kinda control over the ball, then i just cant consider it a clean catch.

I agree. I don't like the rule but they will always call it! They didnt call it because it's Dallas and Dez they called it because it's a rule.
