Stumbling isn't a football move though. If he caught the ball and ran 3 steps then started stumbling that's a different story. He went up, grabbed it and came down stumbling fell on the ground and the ball hit the ground. That's a highlight play but not a catch. Just like Calvin johnsons play he obviously caught the ball but the refs said when he was coming back up to celebrate he didn't "complete the process".

Picking your feet up and putting them back down is a football move. Always has been and always will be. Stumble run whatever you want to call it. He picked his feet up and put them down 3 times.

So if Dez caught the ball and fell backwards on his butt instead of face down, he takes those same three "steps" while falling and lands on his back. That's a football move to you?

Like I said in the game thread, if he makes that catch at the 30 yard line, he does not dive forward like that. That dive was another football move.

Anyone who played sports , especially football knows that Dez got robbed of a great catch.

fukk the cowboys, but that was a great play and horrible ruling.
It wasn't a catch because of the follow through after he/ball hit the ground. He rolled over and had to attempt to regain possession, thats why it was incomplete.

I don't know why y'all wasting time arguing with dudes who obviously have an intense hatred for the cowboys, it was a catch and so was Megatron's, rule needs to be changed

Categorizing it as stumbling all you want if he took that "stumble" to keep his feet in bounds we'd call it keeping his feet in bounds. He took three steps. The catch was established after the second

I mean it caught it with both hands and when he came down put it in on hand to extend out. If that's not being in control of the ball, I don't know what is.

The rule basically eliminates ANY interpretation or common sense. It doesn't take into account everything that goes on and using the eye test. The fact that they tried to explain their reasoning proves it.

Growing up playing sports, ball in hand + 2 steps in bounds = catch , regardless of what happens after

This rule yall keep citing, is a new(and horrible) rule. Woulda been a catch in any other decade.
