Shannon dropped gems but the thing is they're both right. The coli loves to throw the word c00n out but I don't think that fits for this situation. Dez heart is in the right place but he didn't articulate in a way where he clearly got his point across. Yes, he did kinda downplay the plight of blacks in Amerikkka though it was unintentional, but since when is taking personal accountability a bad thing?

Cowboys fan or not, Dez is simply out of touch with legitimate issues that members of the black community face. Specifically, systematic racism. I hope this starts necessary dialouge between Dez and educated people like Sharpe.

If he wants to call out personal accountability for certain people that's ok as has been said multiple times but it's when he's singling out an entire race especially his own race that is the problem here.
I respectfully disagree. Dez is speaking on his experience from the heart. It wasn't like he denounced black folks, rather speaking on his experience with them. A lot of people have to take accountability for their own actions, so if Dez is only around brothers of which are lacking accountability and he speaks on it, is he wrong?
