These nikkas are living the life still seeking pats on the head.

This shyt runs deep.

We ain't made it until white people love us.

They're not "living the life" if they're still so insecure that they spout off at the mouth about shyt like this but I have a suspicion about the catalyst to him making these tweets.

White people love to get around Black and other non-white celebrities and influence them to use their platform to c00n.

Here's a scenario.

Cac: Dez, how do you feel about people in your community not strapping on their bootlaces and reaching your potential in the way you have, I've been told by other Black people that Black people tend to have a victim mentality and it's preventing them from reaching their goals.

(this sort of leading question can either go two ways, the Black person can either correct them on the spot or feel pressured to agree and respond with an anecdote, in my experience, the Black person usually chooses the latter as to not offend the white person)

c00n: Yeah man, I grew up rough, no dad in the house, my mom didn't have money for Jordans or nice clothes that the other kids had but one thing she taught me is to never make excuses for myself and it seems like a lot of Black parents fail to teach their children the same and you can look around and see what it's turning the Black community into.

Cac: That's very honest of you and I know it's tough to give an honest assessment of your community with everyone being ready to jump down your throat. Having the platform you have as a Black man, I believe it's your responsibility to share your experience with other Black youth and spark a conversation, just imagine, you could be the seed that sparks Black youth to stop making excuses.

Anybody that's lived in the hood knows this is true. Alot of ain't shyt nikkas that chose that lifestyle.

But on the coli they're angels that fell victim to white supremacy.

I grew up in the hood. Always did well in school, played the 'straight and narrow' and was never been accused of not being black enough :francis:

What you mad about, Dez caping for white society that argued for the GM to be able to ask him that in a job interview. That system he is ignoring and shytting on black people with some ingrained black inferiority bullshyt. And you getting angrier at me than the bullshyt he said. SMH

I'm tired of black celebrities feeling like they have to downplay the struggles that we as a people STILL go through, in order to make some imaginary point concerning other peoples lack of success.

Discrimination still exists, Racism still exists, and the good ole boy network in American businesses is still very much intact.

Stop trying to define the struggles of people still trying to make it, just because you already have!
