Given all he's been through this is a good look. If he's anywhere near as productive this coming season as he was last year he'll have a nice contract extension too. Young brother go and get your paper :obama:

Dallas Cowboys receiver has signed a three-year endorsement deal with Jordan, according to Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas.

Bryant himself announced the new partnership via Twitter on Thursday, writing, “I didn't want to break the ice now, but I'm going to go ahead and put it out there I'm officially with the Jordan brand.”

The Cowboys receiver, who is coming off of a career-year with Dallas, was reportedly in Las Vegas at the time for an event for the Jordan Brand, which of course is the namesake of NBA Legend Michael Jordan.

As Watkins points out, this isn’t Bryant’s first major endorsement deal. He signed with Under Armour after being drafted but was released from the deal less than a year later.

Entering his fourth year in the league, Bryant’s stock seems to be on the rise. In 2012, he caught 92 passes for 1,382 yards and 12 touchdowns--all career-highs--and showed a level of maturity not seen a whole lot in his first two seasons.

Bryant tells Jordan Brand "let me show you I'm worthy" by working for free the 1st yr of deal

Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant is so confident in his abilities to not only adhere to Jordan's advice of staying out of trouble but also continuing to develop as one of the league top game breakers that he will not get paid the first year of his three-year endorsement deal with Jordan Brand at his request.

According to a source, it was Bryant’s idea to work for free the first year of the deal outside of athletic gear/apparel and prove himself worthy of the Jordan Brand.

“He told Jordan, let me show you,” the source said.

Of course, if you know Bryant the Jordan gear is like money to him.

Bryant is the seventh NFL player to join the apparel group and will be part of a new marketing campaign coming this summer, a source said
