From a football standpoint, the Saints felt we could win the Super Bowl before we even entertained thoughts of Dez in this offense. So in that regard, the goal and optimism remains the same. Just from a pure team outlook standpoint, I'm only sad cuz I was excited to see what Dez could do with a GOAT QB. I'm sad the football gods robbed us of that. But my dreams of a Super Bowl have taken not one hit. I will just pray hard that Drew, MT, Kamara, and Ingram stay healthy.

From a human standpoint, I feel horrible for Dez. To go from the highest high to the lowest low with your livelihood, I pray for his psychology.
