Well, he still has to get a waiver to play this season which could be very likely and very unlikely all at the same damn time. The last OU player that won an NCAA appeal was Dusty Dvoracek.... who ended up being a bi contributor for our DL and made the lives of every opposing OL difficult. You see we haven't won an appeal since and I don't expect DGB to win this one...

If DGB, plays THIS year....


If he doesn't, he may never play a down.. He'll sit for this year then declare.

Nah, but I'm really not getting my hopes up too high. Like you said, it's been awhile since an appeal went in our favor, although perhaps this can be another Jalen Saunders situation. If so, this could really be a great thing to develop Trevor Knight and open up the rest of our offense

The Schooner(OU Horse Carriage/Wagon) is a symbol of the state and a throwback to the old southwest of the 19th century. Those carriages were made from the weathered wood(wood grain). It's also metaphor for tradition.... Rings on the inside of a tree = Age of tree(how far our tradition goes back). Lastly, "Bring the Wood" should be self-explanatory.
