Just on backpack rappers. And conscious rappers.
I can't say all, but I find it hard to believe most conscious knowledgeable rappers don't know you don't "come" from Africa. That you are actually from here. If they don't have you listening to murder murder murder music or commercially influenced rap it's this quote unquote conscious rap that attaches you to a title "black"
They've been using music and other mediums to influence the culture and guide the people this way, from James brown I'm "black" and I'm proud and even before then.
You ever wonder why no one ever asks you to prove you're from Africa
You can't walk out a Walmart with cheaply crafted Chinese products without them asking for receipts
You are original you are native to this land.
And that does not in any way cast aspersions on dear fellow Africans

Why when you identify on government forms usually if you claim Native American it's with the catch if you keep ties with or in association with current tribes or programs which are washed and dissolved people and government set up programs. But you claim anything else they could care less
Once you study and at least open your mind past the lie and the narrative fed you since birth
There is more sound credible evidence of your heritage being home here on U.S. Soil as opposed to anywhere else in the world.
And on black/white you have to truly understand what those terms mean

Real talk, rappers don't get enough credit for being great WRITERS/conveyors of thought. Y'all take that shyt for granted, I don't. What both of these rappers did is impressive from a writing standpoint imo
