I think the overarching point is that Puff's protection is gone. Whether it's cause Clarence Avant isn't here anymore or he pissed off the wrong people up the chain, or simply the Cassie lawsuit brought too much heat and he became a liability, whatever it is, he's food now. Everyone been known about Puffy's fukkery but they chose to hit him now.
