so i live in a very rural area.
cable is not an option and sometimes power is an issue as well.
probably going to get a generator soon. so we've been rocking
dial-up for the past couple of years and this shyt is wack.
coli pages take 3-10 minutes to load depending on how many
wack ass gifs and pics people post...it's not the move.
i got some signal boosters that go from the electrical socket to
my modem and somehow is supposed to boost the signal.

it ain't working and i get a static shock every time i pick up the landline.

any advice or funny stories from those going through the struggle?

I have an unlimited plan so I can keep it running all day.

If i happen to get disconnected I just go grab a drink while reconnecting.

My job was a lil pissed though in the only user on the network with a dialup vpn

i should have mentioned this in the op; i have an old plan that has been grandfathered in.
i have unlimited data...for life...and i'm paying less than $20 a month. even when i did have
cable, i kept that account open and kept on paying it for years without using it because i knew
someday i would need it.



here i am living that 480p life.
letting netflix buffer for 3 hours to watch 20 minutes of a 1 hour show because we gotta buffer again.
oh no, what's that?
mother in-law is calling again?
i'm trying to bust a nut!
