because to generalize: men marry for looks and women marry for financial security. so a beautiful woman producing a child with a man that's not so great looking isn't going to produce female offspring more beautiful than the mother.This is true. Not entirely true. Diana was known as being mean, vicious and jealous. Beautiful woman & great singer but stabbed a lot of black woman that she worked with in the back. Examples include Florence Ballard, Gladys Knight and Patti Labelle. She also had a problem sleeping with many of the married men that she worked with (Eddie Kendricks for example). She cheated with Barry Gordy. She married Robert Silberstein when she was 2 months pregnant and lied to Rhoda that Robert was her father when it was really Barry Gordy. That's not even all of it.This isn’t a surprise for those that know what’s up. Diana Ross was rejected by other wealthy blacks out the gate because she grew up in the projects. And they made sure she knew that.
So she got in where she fit in. That means among white folks who seem to not have a problem accepting what the black community rejects.

I don't see the problem. She is with her people. She is both white and black. If it was Diana maybe I would think it was strange, but Chudney is half white and has a white father.

She's BOTH black and white. She's hanging with HER PEOPLE. If she were in a room full of black people, I would say the same thing. She's both. You can't be a sellout for hanging with white people when you have a white father.
