To take it a step further, if you are an artist, and you know you have that influence, why not use it in a positive way?

For the most part, the influence comes from a person being seen as fun & cool. If you are doing something that isn't deemed as "fun" or "cool" then most will just turn their attention to someone else who is, especially nowadays.

This has to be the most ignorant statement I have never heard. It says a lot about how educated the hip hop community is when an artist says people do drugs for the sake of everyone "seeing" them doing it like its braggadocios.

he basically confirmed what people have been saying for a long time that lean is just a lifestyle drug. a lot of misinformation and ignorance thrown around about Actavis being superior, like it isn't made of the same 2 main ingredients that a hundred other pharmaceutical companies combine and sell. Maybe Actavis tastes different or better but the end result is the same no matter what company makes it it says a lot about how much of a "who can flex more" arms race the entire culture is. he really said people are paying $2000 a pint for lean that's a $15 co-pay at the pharmacy if you're able to convince your doctor you have a bad cough. I wonder if rappers buy brand name aspirin at the pharmacy instead of getting the generic shyt too. this culture is retarded.
