So they say a lot of natives died from the actual conquests but the majority died from disease. I think they say we were exposed to the common cold so we built up immunities to it but those in the new world were not.

long story short, if we made it over first, do you think we inadvertently first spread those diseases over here?

I think it’s possible could have reached the south or east coast because of the Gulf Stream but sustained contact is another thing. In Massachusetts they document a lot of how fast the pandemic spread amongst the Indians before they began to build up immunities. Whole tribes perished and were forced to go migrate to other tribes because of the levels of death.

I don’t think we had sustained contact, at least here on North America. But what do I know? It’s cool to speculate though

Yes people travelled. Would change the story of the original discovery as per Columbus. Doesn't change much else. Brehs are still not native to Americas. Touching on another thread this week. These are also moors allegedly. Not Israelites.
