Ive got the album spmewhere.
This thread got me bumping Major Figgas.

And the reviewer was a name we never saw again in the sourceI remember my homie bought one of their albums after The Source gave them nikkas 4 1/2 mics.Needless to say, the album was below average.
Homie was hot, so was many other hip hop fans around the country. That's why when MadeMen did their next album, The Source gave them a review, but didn’t give it a mic count due to "conflict of interest".

The RSO album is a 9/10. That crew always has dope production from RSO to hangmen3. The Wiseguyz shyt was really good to. I copped a Tangg Da Juice album, he's one of the better ones outta that camp.

I have. I bought Made Men album based on the source review. Very forgettable generic album. Not the worst album I've ever bought though.

The fight at the Cash Money Ruff Ryders tour. Always been mentioned since it happened back in early 2000. But Styles P actually
talked about the situation on Tax Season podcast recently. Supposedly Made Men & their affiliated squad i guess, were lookin for
X cuz he allegedly had done somethin somethin to a girl who happened to be on their sisters (probably fukked). Them nikkas came
in icegrilling and looking for X. But if ya know about X he's similar like Ghostface. He's there and then he's gone. He pops up like that. Which
is why it was hard for Def Jam/Ruff Ryders to maintain him at first and he had to have handlers so he wouldnt be out there causin ruckus or doing
drugs. But thats another story.
But one of Made Mens mans & nem basically said "we dont find X we fukkin up everybody Ruff Ryders" or some shyt. And Styles P is about it, so he
wasnt feeling that. And so him & Benzino (who he said they always remained cool with) talked it out but eventually it got to a all out brawl. Them Made Men
were deeper tho. It was mostly just Lox & some of their mans & them against Made Men & a bunch of muthafukkas. nikkas brought hawks and everything (them Ruff Ryders cats)
nikkas got stabbed, blood gushing and everything.
The story was pretty big back when it happened. But more details didnt pop up about it until recently when Styles P told some of what happened.

I know a couple of y'all fell for those source ads
I did....But only becuase I was overseas in Bosnia late 99 and The Source(and Vibe/XXL/Rap Pages) was our only access to what was popping in the states relating to Hip Hop. When I saw the 41/2 mics I went to the PX and copped off the stregth. Like someone else said after that okeedoke The Source ratings were no longer reliable.
