I didn't listen. They told me to break up with her even if I stayed at home for college. They told me to take the scholarship. I was on my I'm 18 I'm a man I can make my own decisions type steez. I had so much confidence and was making all the wrong decisions. She actually broke up with me the next year and then kept coming back playing games. Just drama that I didn't need. That was my first real girlfriend so I was going extra hard to defend her and to please her.

Turned down a scholarship to play fullback at an HBCU to stay home and walk on at Coastal Carolina University. Still regret not taking that scholarship but the experience of playing and competing with multiple future NFL players is something I cherish because I know I was at that level too. Politics is definitely a real thing when it comes to playing time for a legit football university. I felt disrespected because I had put in the work and was standing out in practice but my position coach (safety) held me out of the spring game on some bull. You put in all this work, wake up at 4:30 in the morning for workouts that most people with literally pass out doing all winter, hitting the weight room daily, hitting all the check marks they ask of you for the guy you been working under to get better to tell you that you can't compete to prove yourself.

I made a decision then that football was not my life and focused on my education.

I walked on div 3 school in ewing nj for baseball. Smokin too much at the time so i passed.

I honestly dont regret it as i honestly never dug the whole idea of organized sports...just did it because i was good and i was hardly giving effort.

My sophmore year i played ten games and hit .678

Whatever tho i was never goin pro...

Football. I had a GF at the time. She said if I played football I would drop out because I didn't give a fukk about getting an education...so I didn't go for walk on try outs. Still ended up dropping out too.
