Did anybody play rpgs when they were younger?

We had the chipped playstation so we could play all the new Japanese import games..my boy who was Chinese could read Japanese because it's the same characters..so he was beating xeno gears and other RPG before they were made for America ..we used to go to Japan town in sf and buy import games,,I've played some dope as games that never got released here

Id ask it the other way around. As a kid you have a lot more time for RPGS. So yeah I played a lot of them back in the day. Nowadays I barely have the patience or motivation to keep going. Im glad tho I played Chrono Trigger and what not. They are still some of the best games ever made

Hold up, breh FF Tactics Advance and FF Tactics A2 are both GREAT games. I played the fukk outta A2 a few years back.

Gameplay wise, yes but those stories weren't on the level of the original tactics. shyt, it was the Game of Thrones on TV screens before the show

Oh I agree with that. Story wasn't all that. I did enjoy Marche in FF Tactics Advance though. I also loved the graphics.

First RPG I remember playing was the Legend of Zelda....The Golden NES Cartridge. But the game that got me hooked to RPGs was Chrono Trigger. Then FF7.....Golden gaming years.

Yes it is! It was action oriented but collecting those hearts to "Level Up" is RPG. It's not a heavy RPG but that shyt was an RPG back in the day.

Then on to (in no order) star ocean, star ocean second story, chrono trigger , phantasy star, tales of phantasia, suikoden, parasite eve
