Im sure i played more but those are the only ones that stand out

Does the og Zelda count as an rpg? They're really more action rpg aren't they?
First old school jrpg I played and enjoyed was prolly skies of Arcadia that game was heat rocks I thinks it's the only traditional jrpg I ever beat. When I got an og xbox I started getting into wrpg like KOTOR :banderas: jade empire then with xbox /ps3 I got into mass effect which now is a shooter with rpg elements. Fall out 3 was pretty cool. Witcher 2 is great and Witcher 3 will change the world (mark my words). Only ff game I ever played was x/x-2 and that game was trash I got up to the blitz ball bull crap and had enough :camby:

Hell yeah I played em. I can't remember the first one I played but it most likely was Final Fantasy 7. I never beat it nor did I ever beat FF8.

I then got into the Tales of series and I remember beating Tales of Destiny 1/2, Tales of Symphonia and I almost completed Tales of Vesperia.

Last RPG I really beat was Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 FES.

I'm trying to play FFXIII now on PC and it's alright so far. I started it on PS3 and I stopped playing around chapter 11 or 13.

Chrono Trigger is was and always will be the GOAT RPG of my life

I got Chrono Chross just could not get into it so I sold it after 3 days

I got a copy of Vagrant Story never beat it but the combo system and music:ohmy:

Skies of Arcadia was amazing I really would love to play that again why is this not an XBLA title?:dwillhuh:

I never played any Final Fantasy game:merchant:

Reading this thread I just realized I used to play alot of fukking RPG's now all I play are sports and fighting games smh

What happened brehs?
You should pick up Chrono Cross again, cause it finishes the story and explains what happens to everyone. The main cast, the gurus, Schala, Lavos... everyone. You even get to play as most of the main cast or their decendants and alternate selves... great game. But I didn't understand it well enough when I was a kid either. Had to be an adult to appreciate the themes in it like fate being unavoidable and existance being a consience entity against you and being the same person as another clearly different person in another reallity and other weird stuff like that. I didn't have time to be thinking that hard aftetschool. Not when I had Killer Instinct 64... but now I think its one of my top 20 rpgs of all time.

Some things you can't appreciate until experience life. Back then I used to think Das Efx was better than Wu-Tang.
:snoop:

Also, there is a game in between the two that most people don't even know about called Radical Dreamers.

Chrono Trigger
Secret of Mana
Illussion of Gaea
Secret of Evermore
Link to the Past
Final Fantasy 6
Ogre Battle
Super Mario RPG

Phantasy Star series is dope on genesis... but SNES was killing in the RPG department.

Never been a big JRPG fan but I remember back in the day me n my best friend would stay up all night on weekend sleep overs trying to beat this... :wow:

The nostalgia alone right now got me :to:
Man Gamecube was a great system. I do not understand how gamecube games aren't on the Eshop. Nintendo stays making dumb fukking mistakes. Hold up, I think I still have my platinum gamecube :gladbron: Imma look for it next weekend :obama: Might cop some gamecube games for it. I still have a few joints laying around. I fell for the okie doke though and sold a lot of my gamecube games at gamestop; this was when I was a freshman in college.
Makes me wish I had PS3 breh. :to: Hopefully they have it on PS4 eventually.
:dahell: Ps3 can't be that expensive nowadays. What's wrong with u? Ur missing out big time. These fools out there selling their ps3 when they get a ps4 are dumb as hell.
Earthbound :banderas:

Chrono Trigger :banderas:

Final Fantasy VI :banderas:

Super Mario RPG :banderas:

Secret of Mana :banderas:
Thank god for the Eshop and Psn :banderas: I have all of those games on my Eshop and PSN just waiting to be played
Vagrant Story was mad underrated. The world of Ivalice was a creative concept by Squaresoft back then.

vagrantstory-boxart.jpg

Copped on the PSN months ago. I still haven't gotten to it, and likely won't for some time. I played it when it first came out on the ps1. I also had some old emulator on the comp I copped in 2001 that let me play burned ps1 games. I played Chrono Cross and Vagrant Story on it.

Seems like they had something going with Ivalice universe with this and FFT. Both are one of the best storylines in any RPG but then the FFT sequels :scusthov: and i didn't even bother with FFXII. I pretty much was done with Square's BS

Hold up, breh :whoa: FF Tactics Advance and FF Tactics A2 are both GREAT games. I played the fukk outta A2 a few years back.
