We seriously need to start reflecting and directing where exactly ADOS's reparations will be going towards.

I've observed and talked with other groups and they all actively have business/ real estate groups and professional groups where only people of that race can join and participate. They ACTIVELY have a rule stating that you and your significant other must be XX race. That ensures money MADE in the community, STAYS IN THE COMMUNITY. Too many times we have people that once they get the taste of money they automatically look out of their race and ensure that black wealth never lasts a generation. We really need to find a way to stop it.

This is how Asian money stays circulated.
This is how every single race keeps money circulating in their group. Except us.

I think this is paternalistic. I don't think black people should have any conditions on what they spend their newfound wealth on. If a black man who received a million dollar check for reparations decided to buy a thousand pairs of gucci sneakers, more power to him. At least he had the opportunity to spend money that should have been passed down through generations of black people before him.

When someone receives damages for the avoidable loss of a life caused by someone else or a corporation, they understand that what they're receiving will not return the dead loved one to them.

The question is why are black people painting their own people as financially irresponsible and using that as an argument against receiving reparations? It is very unsettling to hear that out of the mouths of black people. Maybe I'm paranoid, but the traitorous behavior of black agents seems to be at a new and alarming high of late. Perhaps I wasn't paying attention, but I've never seen so many black people actively fight on behalf of white supremacy.

I believe reparations would be better off if it meant getting rid of all black debt ( loans and mortgages )
paid collegiate athletes and investment into STEM students and self policing.

Who says I'm better off giving the money back to whites? Why are we assuming that black people will gladly hand back reparations to the people from whom they took it? It's about freedom to spend money that is ours. That's it. If some people want to spend their reparations on dumb shyt, so be it. That is their right. It's their money.

In the midst of this call for reparations to be made to black people, many of those expressing skepticism have questioned the financial literacy of its presumed recipients and suggested that the money will be wasted if its distribution involves checks being cut to them. Isn't this an inherently racist line of questioning, an assumption built upon stereotypes rather than reality? When reparations were made to the survivors of the Holocaust, did Jews express doubt about the practicality of the money going into the hands of Jewish people? Did they criticize the ones who spearheaded the reparations effort as shortsighted? Why are there black people echoing white supremacist talking points when discussing the reparative solutions to our community's historic oppression?
