Did anyone else lose their “thread position”...?

idk what else to call it but whenever I login to this forum (or any forum) and enter a thread(s)...when I revisit the same thread(s) it takes me to the last post I’ve read...obviously this is useful especially for large/multi-page threads...for some reason on this forum it seems like the last post I’ve read in every thread I’ve been in has been forgotten...this just happened yesterday...has it happened to anyone else?

idk if there’s an option to turn it on/off...I had to go back in certain threads and just go straight to the last page and scroll down to the last post which then recreates the “thread bookmark”
