I heard the name and had a small awareness of who he was but I couldn't pick him out of a lineup. I don't listen to stuff like what he does. I could pick Ben Shapiro out of a lineup though never listened to him either.

The shoe must fit. And it’s absolutely not a dumb take. Everyone cannot be aware of everything. It’s not like I defended people being ignorant of what’s going on in the world, but more so that it can be hard to know every actor in the arena when there are so many of them especially in this day and age where everyone has a voice. But keep being purposely obtuse while getting on a high horse on a public anonymous forum of all places.
At some point you reach a age where you stop paying full attention to all this stuff you aren't interested in. Doesn't make you dumb.

What I think @ItWasMeThough is trying to get at in terms of real political action is what are posters using this knowledge of this man being a high-level white supremacist for. Are the black posters getting involved, community activists, to fight back against people who follow him, or are they just sitting on their hands? The best way, and really the only way, to fight back against people like Kirk is through civic engagement.

You all were equating people not knowing this particular influencer/podcaster with being ignorant. That was what I was arguing against. So it doesn’t make sense for you to ask “who said that” to my statement of “everyone can’t be aware of everything” then admonish people for not being in the know of ALL the actors in the right wing political arena, especially a social media influencer. Can’t you see the contradiction there? I’m not one for all this finger wagering whilst offering no solutions as to what we do with the knowledge of knowing about these Fuentes, Destiny, etc characters? How do we stop them? Because if we’re not taking no course of action, might as well be ignorant. You can’t just sit on knowledge and do nothing with it. Like I said nobody offering no actionable plan. As a woman, if a nikka talking all this hooha, I need to some action. Don’t just talk shyt on a forum and offer me no solutions while demeaning me by calling me ignorant.
