A lot persons never even listened to the Meek Mill diss; it became a popularity contest. Drake got the headstart with "Back to Back" and it didn't matter if Meek released "Ether".

This wasn't a Nas/Jay-Z situation where it's 2001 and Nas could bide his time and drop Ether months after Takeover, and Meek has never had the cultural respect Nas has.
