Not going too far. He was talking about a group of people that he considered himself a part of. Now if he made this type of song about a group of people that he did NOT consider himself a part of, that would be going too far.

i never liked this song by him.
and it came out after he died. fat joe allowed it. i still think when pun was alive it was supposed to be a feature with remy ma and armageddon
joe instead did it with pun alone and mixed it up over a short interlude type beat bukkwild made for yeaahhh baby.
i still think this wasnt supposed to be a pun song. too short. it was supposed to be with TS

:ehh: I was in my teens when this came out and I dug it and i was living in the bx at the time and he was describing the shyt going on in an average day out there. But I can't rock with it these days. He was describing all the shyt he did.

A lot of Puerto Ricans grow up around black people in the hood and use the lingo. It's not really surprising, I grew up around a lot of them and some of them even said the N word more than other black people. I'm sure Pun meant no malice with his words though

No I get that

But there's a difference between saying the n-word and making a song like this
As I've gotten older, matured and traveled my way of thinking has changed. Some of the same things that I found appealing as 16yr old, I can't rock with at 32.
I feel you, do you perceive music like this as being too ignorant?
