I agree. he's so worried about his phony "street cred" he refused to cooperate with the police when his best friend was murdered right in front of him :snoop:

or maybe he just didnt want to put his own life & family in danger over some chit that he didnt have anything to do with? taking the stand is not going to bring his man back.

as long as he paid for the funeral and looks out for dude's family, hes not obligated to do anything else.

and whats funny is, the same people saying that he should take the stand, are the same people that would be calling him a snitch.

Can't forget.

Barja Walterhad his house fire bombed and shot up early Tuesday (1/8). Who is Barja Walerhad you say? He is said to be (or at least at one time) Tony Yayo's Road Manager. The New York Post is reporting that the bombing occured at a quarter to 5 am, when unknown persons shot up the house then threw a Molotov cocktail onto the lawn. Thankfully, no one was hurt during the attack but bullets did hit the house of the neighbors.
Walerhad has in the past been questioned in 2006 in connection with themrder of Busta Rhymes' bodygaurd Israel Ramirez along with in 2003 he was acquitted on charges of shooting at a group of police officers, which 50 Cent was reported to have covered his legal fees for.

Neighbors shaken by shooting at Staten Island home of rapper's associate

Neighbors living in a townhouse community in Stapleton were still shaken this evening over a bullet and firebomb attack early Tuesday morning on the home of an associate of rap superstar 50 Cent.

The evidence was stark: Bulletholes in one neighbor's windows and doors and a black streak several feet long where a small fire burned after a Molotov cocktail missed its original mark.

The barrage of about a dozen gunshots around 4:45 a.m. was apparently meant for Barja Walter, 32, of 35 Tappen Ct. Bullets struck Walter's townhouse, along with some neighbors' homes, but a gasoline-filled bottle aimed at his bulletproof Chevy SUV failed to hit its target.

Walter, his girlfriend and three children were home at the time of the incident but were unharmed.

However, their neighbors were still jittery this evening.

"We heard gunshots and I woke up," said a 50-year-old woman who lives next door and asked not to be identified. "It was loud and I thought my house was on fire."

She and her husband, Robert, 51, who would give his first name only, pointed out two bulletholes in the window of their daughter's upstairs bedroom, two more in their aluminum siding and one in their front screen door.

The frazzled couple added that a Molotov cocktail was thrown at Walter's bulletproof SUV, but missed, instead striking their 2007 Honda Accord, then bouncing off Walter's garbage can before hitting the ground, where it broke and burst into flames.

"It woke me up at 3 a.m. and there was a big fire next to my car," said neighbor Erwin Menbreno, 31.

Neighbors said the incident was the second involving Walter that had affected other residents.

In the first incident over Easter of last year, another car and his front screen door to his house were damaged, Robert said.

Many neighbors said they lived in the quiet community for decades without problems.

"We've never had anything happen like this," said one resident. "This is one of the nicest, quietest communities to raise kids."

Several neighbors seemed aware of Walter's celebrity status. One neighbor noted her children had seen Tony Yayo visit the house, "But we are not impressed by that."

Some neighbors said Walter had moved or was in the process of moving and expressed relief at that news.

However, police said Walter lives at the residence part of the time.

Walter told cops he put out the fire with a garden hose and claimed he didn't know why anyone would want to harm him.

One neighbor doesn't buy it.

"They were very serious this time. The last time they were playing with him. This time it was about taking his life."

Walter, who also goes by the name Jahlill Bethel, served a three-month stint in prison in 2004 on a felony weapons charge, public records show.

In 2006 he was questioned in the fatal shooting of rapper Busta Rhymes' bodyguard, but was not considered a suspect.

A phone call to Walter's lawyer was not returned.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Barja wasnt even a suspect in the murder...

"The road manager for G-Unit rapper Tony Yayo spent 12 hours at a pair of Brooklyn police stations yesterday and said he narrowly avoided a grilling about the murder of Busta Rhymes' bodyguard.
"My lawyer put a stop to it," said Barja Walter, 30, who was hauled in after a traffic stop.
A police source said Walter wasn't a suspect in the unsolved Feb. 5 slaying of Israel Ramirez, who was gunned down during a video shoot for Rhymes' "Touch It (Remix)." But detectives were trying to figure out if Walter knew anything about a riff between Yayo and a producer that may have led to the shooting.
"They're trying to question anyone affiliated with G-Unit," Walter said yesterday after leaving the 79th Precinct stationhouse in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Cops said the manager, part of 50 Cent's G-Unit hip-hop crew, should start singing. "He could shed light in a number of shootings but he is hiding behind his lawyer," a police source said. Police said Rhymes, Banks and Yayo have not cooperated in the investigation into the Ramirez murder, adhering to the industry's "stop-snitching" mantra."

Firebombing was absolutely nothing to do with Busta Rhymes...

"As the feud escalated, Mr. Stewart said he was asked by Mr. Rosemond to take part in several tit-for-tat acts of violence. In 2007, he slashed Mr. Lighty’s brother with a razor in the street. He also admitted he had shot up a house on Staten Island belonging to Baja Walters, a road manager for G-Unit." - Henchman beef.

That was the second of two shootings, and I never said Busta was directly involved in that. People were asking why didn't he retaliate and I asked how do they know that he didn't try?

There was only one shooting.
The house was firebombed and shot up during one incident.

Well they didn't specifically say there was a shooting, but there was another incident...

Neighbors said the incident was the second involving Walter that had affected other residents.

In the first incident over Easter of last year, another car and his front screen door to his house were damaged, Robert said.
