Did Charlo duck Canelo?

For some time there’s been a dispute about whether or not Charlo got an offer to fight Canelo and turned it down. Oscar spoke about it to fighthub (clip is below). Charlo and his fans have since denied the claim. Below, one of my favorite boxing channels, IBFP, breaks it down pretty good. It should be noted that when the Charlo twins were having a little friction and went on IG live, the smaller Charlo brought it up in an argument and stated “I would have never duck Canelo!”.

Thoughts? This is interesting because if true, it’s the opposite of what most ppl claim. Canelo being afraid to fight Charlo is all you read. I personally think Haymon didn’t want his cub to get in there with Canelo just yet. Perhaps he’s a bit more confident of his chances to win now though and that fight may happen down the line.

Eventually LDBC going have to address why so many PBC cash cows have difficulty making big cross promotional fights. It's always somebody else fault. Canelo is strategic and plays typical A side games so I don't doubt whatever offer was probably advantageous to Canelo (catchweight fukkery, short notice, etc) but either way I don't think you turn down that kind of opportunity so let's see if more info come out

The title he has is Canelo's title, how can he have canelo's belt and duck him, Canelo didn't want to fight him for whatever reason

It's a whole crop of fighters Canelo could've fought that he hasn't fought its not just Charlo, he hasn't fought Andade, Caleb Plant, or David Benavidez
