It is not hard for African Americans to trace their lineage. DNA companies have been building a database for a while, in fact Ancestry DNA has a whole genetics community database indicating places where African Americans have roots in the USA. From what I have seen the database is pretty accurate, for my family at least, because it listed known locations that I knew that my family lived during and after slavery.

Very good article but her views don't have any teeth to them.

Thomas and the Supreme Court are not seeing things her way, but they should be.
