@11:30

Aries Spears says that he heard Dave was pressured by black Hollywood to stop portraying black people in a certain light, and that why he left..

Personally ..I never found the Chappelle show to be that funny... I mean the Puerto Rican Dude, Ashy Larry, and Charlie Murphy were all very funny to me but most of the shyt Dave said was pretty corny to me. I mean he was funny.. but not THAT funny..

Anyways why does Dave Chappelle get a pass on the "c00n" label from AA?

:camby:

What fukking Puerto Rican dude? :dahell:

@facemaskyou sounding like an emotional bytch about this ... I didn't say the shyt ... Aries Spears did...
all I did was ask y'all if you felt if what he was saying was true or not...

Foh with all that extra shyt

I didn't even watch the video you're talking about.

Yeah a black person emotional over a race issue, how emasculating. You've really got me over a barrel now.

If they really are older that's just sad... They still dumber than cat piss.
It be nikkas who say they're in their 30's or older saying the vast majority of that type of shyt on here, dead ass. nikkas on here will say some goofy shyt like "fatherless fakkit" and then will be on some "back in my day" type shyt in the same sentence. shyt is corny

N*gga what the hell is the matter with you. Why would I watch some next n*gga's opinion on some sh*t I was there for?? I WAS THERE. I DON'T NEED NEXT MAN TO REITERATE A PLAY BY PLAY, MY EXPERIENCE IS A PRIMARY SOURCE, FOOL.

Don't quote me again, I'm getting sick to death of this back and forth.

"they" always manage to twist the nuances of black cultural expression as an indictment against us collectively as people

dave's style of comedy basically revolved around societal/cultural talking points that black folks talk about all the time but keep inhouse. dave was trying to be nuanced with his take on race relations; white america saw it more so as caricature and blackface.

from there, you see the ideological clash.
