the novelty has definitely worn off and now that guests are drying up it's not as good. DC should expand to include artists from other genre or just content creators like writers, directors, etc. or even business ppl because the dame dash, lyor cohen and kevin liles episodes were good.

one reason i still listen to combat jack is because he brings in people from all different types of work. DC kind of boxed themselves because of the format of the show.

Combat actually knows how to conduct an interview.

N.O.R.E. is just interested in looking cool.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
This was the smartest move Joe Budden did with his podcast. Originally he was supposed to have guests but Rosenberg stopped producing it and Budden ain't wanna hit ppl up for favors. Every guest podcast falls off eventually. From Juan Ep to Combat Jack to now Drink Champs. There's only but so many interesting hiphop guests you can have. After 52 straight guests (a year's worth) there isn't anything left to be told.
I don't know about this. Or the OP

The only reason buddens was first cause the main description said Remy vs Nicki

Just checked it and D.C. is back on top. And they just had Duck Down in studio :wow:

Mind you they only had "legends" on so far. They still got the ability at any time to start doing new artists and open up that floodgate too

Tbh , they put out too much content for me to keep up. It became a chore , but I'm sure there some gold in there.

major mistake making 2-3 shows a week, no different than NFL-- MNF aint special when I see games on Monday, Thurs, and Sunday...

Also some of the shows where he had 3-5 guests and let none fo them talk- he could have speread them out and had each one on separate- Dame Dash shoulda been a whole episode by himself-- Maybe Young Dro a whole segment, 50 cent definitely a whole show by himself...

Then no matter who they get, they ask THE SAME QUESTIONS ANY OLD VULTURE WOULD ASK...Don't ask 50 "So tell us about how Ja beef started"

Agreed. The only thing having guests does is save him from Beef... without having guests and speaking his mind he's gonna have to learn how to fight quickly. Lmao.

It's def become one of my favorites especially after getting rid of the ass-eater. She was def the weakest link.

Amazing how majority of the women in the industry are birds that they can't find good female talent. lol well it isn't amazing but still.

Literally the only Women with sense on podcasts are those who have nothing to do with hip hop.

I think that's by design. If they select a strong woman with her own mind they will quickly get her outta here just as fast as she is put in place.

There are a couple good ones out there. But of course they will fall far behind the likes of "Guys We fukked" and other bird shyt like that. Smh

People don't realize how hard it is in the podcast game. You have TONS of nikkahs doing this right now so its you have to find ways to really stand out and not sound like the next show.

NORE gets annoying when he cuts people off and derails the discussions . But then when Combat Jack had his own format where he let artists have a platform in a quieter setting and nikkas was complaining about how boring it was. So nobody is ever gonna be satisfied.

I enjoy the Drink Champs still.. Once NORE starts letting the guests flow and shuts up more plus possibly cut the length on certain shows. It still will be good inspite of restrictions from Revolt.
