Never impressed me as a WR. He was a superb athlete but he didn't really have a position yet. This was before hybrids. He couldn't really run good routes or catch consistently which stopped him from being a great NFL wr. And he wasn't heavy enough to be a great rb.

He didn’t need to be a route tech, he was faster than most corners, he was there to turn a slant into a big gain, or a hitch into a big gain or a screen, he was the explosive play guy

Exciting player and a great athlete, but honestly he wasn't all that good. I get he was a jack of all trades but I don't think he was particularly great at anything besides being fast.

Being faster than 90% of the folks out there is a talent which is why D Jack hung around for so long, same with Ted Ginn

You just needed to iso him to let him beat the coverage or he can take the top off to allow under things or get him in space and he makes a guy miss and it’s on

That era of CFB was wildly entertaining. Harvin's UF squads had talent across the roster. And obligatory "fukk injuries/migraines."SMH.

I felt CFB was entertaining for a good 15 years cause I started watching in 2001 when the Terps football became relevant (only cared about Maryland and ACC basketball) and then USC a couple years later really pulled me into college football.

You could feel the popularity in day to day culture. You even had Dwayne Wade do the Superman celebration towards Cam Newton when he was court side post Auburn Title.

it was really a different animal. CFB was almost as entertaining and in some parts of the season the SEC was more entertaining than the NFL
the last time I REALLY cared about college football was when LSU won the national championship. It hasnt been the same since - UGA is boring lol
