He's another one of those Michael Beasley types... can put up numbers, but they do it outside of the game plan.Aloof & detached.In Gerald's case, highly emotional....takes more bad shots than any other player in the league.

Like I said about Beasley when he was with the Suns...it seemed as if he was out there by himself trying to play "21" in the middle of the game.

Gerald has that same "21" syndrome.

He has the shot selection of Kobe but a quarter of the talent, doesn't play defense or pass. Shot a substandard rate from 3 last year. Someones gonna give him a chance but there won't be a rush of any sort to sign him

Him potentially going to the Heat is another good move by Riley and makes their bench that much better. Plus he can be insurance for the inevitable time that will come when Wade is out for a few games. I don't know why he cant find a permanent place in the league but there has to be a reason. He has even missed two years of basketball in the NBA and I don't think that was ever fully explained why. If it was something major it would have come out by now why he keeps switching teams but at the same time it cant just be a case of bad luck either.
