Off topic, but this years 49ers team is the greatest team ever in madden, defense is the best I ever saw on the game, and offense is great also, good running QB who can throw and u can run read option wit, beast rb, beast line, beast tight end, beast receivers

And to add, some of the best Madden players where Im from were the WORST athletes :heh:.

:aicmon:

Madden can't teach you to be an athlete, you think because somebody is good at madden they suppose to be able to go out and throw the ball farther or run faster.

Madden teaches you coverages and formations and those types of things.

i will never c/s this shyt.

Yes, madden can give you a general understanding of how plays work, but the intangibles and dynamics of football can't be learned via video games.

madden doesn't even work like real football...Madden don't teach QB's about how to create passing lanes via throwing sidearmed/ 3 quarters, how to look defenders off, or how to properly run the read option.

all you're seeing is what 10-15 years worth of evolution of QB's in pass happy, spread option offenses in Pop Warner, HS and college are able to do at the pro level.

and it didn't happen cause of madden.

Can teach you alot about zone coverages and schemes

you can't really run a robber zone coverage like Polamalu or Ed Reed does..nor does the 46 effectively do what it was designed to do, cause the Game Physics wont allow it.

you can't even run the 3-4 like it's supposed to be run either.

at best, learning plays/coverages/schemes via madden is the equivalent of reading the summary on the back of of a book/movie.

the bolded help tho, that just more of a reminder, even if it aint the full book it give u a summary, without video games that summary would exist

I agree with the 7 vs 7 tournaments basically revolutionizing the sport. Texas has been producing QBs at a crazy rate since they started popping up.
