Or am I about to murk myself.. . .:lupe:

Applied through a loan with NFCU back in Feb. . They approved me and cut me a check. Was not even sure what I wanted. . But I had their check and it was good until April 9th. . So narrowed down some choices of what I wanted. . Nothing too crazy . . Either something sportier than my current car ( 2010 Jetta ) or something more luxurious.:ld:

Had my choices down to a Camaro, Hyundai Azera, Benz 300, or a Chrysler 300. . . . Test drove multiple versions of those cars from different lots. . . Weighed pro's and con's of each one. :jbhmm: Factored in mileage, cost of upkeep all that good stuff. . .

Happened to check Car Max's website at work and they had a 2014 Chrysler 300 with only 5k miles. . Price was right too. :whoo: Rode on down there the next day after work to take a look at it and they had just sold it. :martin:

Now I had been to this Car Max at least 10 times over the past month and drove up all they whips. :mjlol: Each time I went the dude I was talking to "Oscar" kept saying. . Dang. .I would love to get you in a Maxima but we rarely get them in and when we do they always go fast. . I was :yeshrug: cause it was not even on my radar. . Well this day when I got there and that 300 was gone I was :francis: He had a few others but the miles were flagrant. :camby: He says they just got a 2014 maxima sv premium package in. .:lupe: Took it for a drive and was :ohlawd:

Car fit me like a glove and the miles were nice and low for your boy. :noah: Did some quick research on line and said fukk it. . Lets do it. :salute: Used my check from NFCU and it was easy as pie. . Drove off in my whip. Got it as a bday present for myself in March. . Now I have been periodically checking my online banking to see when the loan was going to show up in my accounts section. . It never did. :ohhh:

Get a letter on sat from NFCU. So of course I am thinking its the terms of my loan or whatever. :ehh: Open it up and it says that they received the paperwork from CarMax but they must have transposed one of the numbers or something and that I should contact them to resubmit it. .

Meanwhile Carmax is sending me emails saying thank you for being a two time customer ( bought my Jetta there) and we love your business. . Basically they have not been paid by NFCU. NFCU has not billed me yet either cause something was wrong on the paperwork Carmax submitted.

:lupe: Should I contact Carmax and tell them to resubmit it before April 9th? That's when the voucher/check expires. . . If I don't. . And they eventually realize they have not been paid. . Will they repo my whip? :wow: :mjcry:

Handle your business first thing in the morning. You don't want that credit hit, judgement, or potential charges.
Coli love. . You know my nature is to take that L. . But I was never a thief or nothing like that. . Normally I don't even open letters from nfcu cause it is usually just bank statements. . I normally check that online anyway. . Just so happens I opened that letter up thank gawd. . I would be writing a super L story if my car got repo'd over some bullshyt. :to:

Ain't no need for that emoji my g.. you're ahead of the 8ball and by hitting them tomorrow you're taking the initiate to correct the issue so everything is smooth in the future.

1. It shows your integrity
2. Whoever is working at NFCU needs to step their game up. Those of the type of errors that create losses and get people fired.

I forget the promo they run (what it's called) but basically you sat down with a Financial consultant regarding a vehicle... You got approved for a certain amount and went to the lot and began looking based on what you were approved for...

There was a check number etc on the amount you were approved for... (they cut you the check and handed it to you)

The moment you bought the whip from CarMax with that NFCU check it should've began showing as loan associated with your member ID etc (shyt you see when you login online)

That process is dangerous... Peep game breh, let's say for whatever reason you walked out of NFCU and lost that check and some shiesty brother picked it up and cashed it.....

Loan would've become active ( you would be held liable ) and whoever found it and decided to cash/spend the bread would've hit a quick Lic

You're doing the right thing. You've got protect yourself. Hit them first thing tomorrow morning and handle it.

They will catch up...Carmax does a lot of business with NFCU and USAA just give them some time...You'd also be better off just telling NFCU...Also bare in mind sometimes paper works takes awhile to work all the way thru to the undersigner.....The loan you have is against the check that NFCU gave you with the car as collateral NFCU Viewed you as a good credit risk.
