Even if you answered yes to all of that, i still find it hard to believe he would fire you without due process, for something so petty. No warning or write up?

I do, but at the same time, it's a different thing to get woken up, know you don't need or want the little bit of money a 7 hour day is going to get you, then blow off your regular work, because of the NBA finals lol....but I get it. Like I said, I never blew it off, ever.

Also, I thought about the guys I knew at that job, who were dying for those hours, killing themselves to try and make life right for their families, and I would feel obligated to go work, even if my circumstances were different.
