I don't buy into the JT as the "President of Pop" or "the New King of Pop" hype, but saying this is a flop is like saying BAD was a flop. We all know the legendary numbers Thriller put up, but BAD sold a fraction.

(and no JT or anything he's ever done is on par with MJ)

People only discuss sales to validate their opinion. It definitely isn't a valid argument, but I've seen people try to justify an album being wack using the sales argument. Just look some of the posts in this thread.
