I don't like you poppin' shyt at Pharrell, for him, I inherit the beef
Yeah, fukk all that pushin' P, let me see you push a T
You better off spinnin' again on him, you think about pushin' me
He's Terrence Thornton, I'm Terence Crawford, yeah, I'm whoopin' feet

Settle an argument for me. My boy says that Kendrick dissed Pusha T here by saying Drake would have a better chance at getting at Push again than him. I don't agree. To me he's bigging up Push here. Like Push killed you, but I'll do you even worse. What y'all think?

no

"pushing p" is slang for Pimping. "you can be a bytch even if you got bytches"

"let me see you push a T" self explanatory

"You better off spinnin' again on him, you think about pushin' me
He's Terrence Thornton, I'm Terence Crawford, yeah, I'm whoopin' feet"

You better off dissing Terrance Thornton again than fukking with me. I'm bout to beat you out your shoes.

Kendrick was pretty much saying
"Pusha-T is good...but I'm better"
When Kendrick is battle rapping, he takes no prisoners, but if he complimenting a rapper, he only gives a gentle nudge. Same thing with the J. Cole situation, same thing with the Control verse.

I honestly think he was freestyling. Like I don’t know his writing process but as someone who used to write and freestyle my first impression of that middle part when he started cookin was oh shyt this Ngga is just goin off the top :ohhh:

You can see how every bar is just feeding his next idea/bar. Plus the wild voices. He was havin fun and riffin. Pushin P made him think of Pusha t….Pusha t made him think of Terrence which made him think of Terrence Crawford. The pushin p reminded him of gunna , etc. Maybe not a traditional freestyle but certainly more carefree and in the moment and not calculated lyrically like every other song. Not like us first few lines had a similar vibe

Nah your boy was right

It was a double entendre that basically meant

“I hate the way T walks, the way that he talks and the way he raps”

Also your boy is stupid

:heh:
