And THIS is what microsoft wanted... just imagine all the kids with brand new xbox one's for christmas being bricks you cant play either way... I would sue someone. but id smack myself thinking an always online machine and games only would be a good idea. I.E. : Destiny....

:mjlol:

Microsoft dodged a bullet despite all the shyt they went through last year. I don't think a fully digital console will fly anytime soon and it would have been a problem for Microsoft down the road if they went through with it. Too many gamers with shyt internet connections, most ISPs in this country are :flabbynsick:, and then we got these fukk boys with nothing better to do screwing with the service easy putting multimillion companies at their mercy.

I have 2 points…

1. These fukking hackers should be sent to Gitmo and water boarded for the rest of their lives for doing shyt like this

2. We may have to force Microsoft and Sony to up their infrastructure by filing a class action lawsuit against them. We pay a monthly fee for a service that they refuse to protect from outside interference. Thus, us paying consumers are paying for a service that both Microsoft and Sony are unable to provide.

you can't stop DDOS. you can only mitigate it and the costs of doing that are astronomical. you'd have to basically construct a new internet to put an end to DDOS attacks

Man, imagine 5 years from now when so many games require online capabilities like what Driveclub is implementing. I hope they don't go this route.
:dahell:

Driveclub doesn't require online capabilities to play.
A better example is Destiny. You can't play it at all without online.
Driveclub works offline.

They didnt dodge a bullet they was fully committed to going through with that but they took the bullet out themselves after they saw how much they was bleeding... After they shot themselves... :mjlol:

Really? Man I assumed it did for some reason because of the server problems i've been hearing about. All I do is go on tour mode.
