It's just somewhat a surprise that a talented artist like Nelly would need a ghost writer for the basic, elementary rhymes he usually has in his songs.

No you’re missing my point. Making music is about melody, hooks, quotes and feelings.


if someone in the studio is saying something over the beat in a catchier, cooler way than what you can come up with then you use those bars

anyone can write multis and metaphors if that’s their goal

And I remember during that time when Ma$e was making his comeback, he talked about being in in the studio when Nelly was working on music
