Thread is ridiculous. Robbie hasn't even been nominated yet and she's only been in 2 (3?) good movies. Robbie is trending towards more a big move star status while J-Law will be trying to catch Streep, Blanchett, Winslet, etc.

Robbie needs to keep the momentum going, J-Law is established at this point and can be gone for long periods of time. Passengers will be the first test to see if J-Law can open a movie on her own, same with Chris Pratt.

Man I remember people talking about Hollywood being dead in 2005 with Kim K on the come up and Hilton and richie running things. Lindsay was supposed to carry the torch and she fell off hard and fast. There was no good young male lead actors as well. It's exciting times for real. We seriously have a decent youth movement with these two, Michael B, Jonah, Miles Teller, Rooney Mara, JGL, etc.

I also think more importantly we have writers who actually treat young actors with some respect and write smart roles as opposed to the generic cliche stuff people in their 20s had to do 10, 20 even 30 years ago. We probably squandered a generation of young actors a few times over.
